Weekend workshops
Shorter intensives on still life, portrait construction, watercolour washes, and limited-palette oils. Materials lists are sent after booking; beginners and returning painters both fit.

Open studio slots keep the room reserved for independent drawing. Bring your own board or use ours. No drop-in parties — just space, light, and a kettle.

Is Studio Trace adults only?
Yes. All classes, workshops, and open studio sessions are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not run children’s or family programmes.
Do I need experience?
Fundamentals classes assume little or no formal training. Intermediate groups expect comfort with basic proportion and shading. Workshop pages note the expected level.
Are materials included?
Paper for life drawing is provided. Bring preferred pencils or charcoal if you have them. Workshops list what we supply versus what to bring.
