About the studio

Studio Trace grew from a simple need: a Brighton room with decent north light where adults can draw without distraction.

We keep the programme focused on observational drawing and related painting skills. Classes stay small. Tutors demonstrate, then leave space for your own marks. The studio is not a café, gallery shop, or kids’ craft space.

How we work

Sessions start on time. Phones stay quiet. Feedback is optional and practical. If you need adapted seating or materials guidance, tell us when you book — we plan ahead rather than improvising mid-pose.

Location

Trafalgar Street 14 sits a short walk from Brighton station. The studio is upstairs; lift access is limited, so contact us before visiting if stairs are a concern.
